Q. Were you able to get the school of your choice or did you compromise and opted for the best option that was open/available for you?
A. IIM Lucknow and its IPMX programme was my top choice, and I am happy that I was able to get to the school / programme of my choice.

Q. Did work experience help in getting the choice of your school and also in dealing with the curriculum?
A. The entry criterion for IPMX includes minimum six years of work experience. My decade long work experience did help me getting to the school of my choice and also in many of the courses that we are undertaking as part of IPMX.

Q. After joining the school, did you ever wish that you should have known certain more things about the school before you became part of it? What are these?
A. I wish I had prepared myself more on Finance before I joined IIM-L.

Q. What is the toughest area to handle in your studies?
A. I found Finance / Accounting courses the toughest to handle.

Q. Which one is your best subject?
A. Amongst my favorite subjects are 'Managing Innovation' and 'International Business Environment'.

Q. Is there stress level during studies?
A. IIMs are known for their rigorous curriculum (more so for the 1-year programmes). Managing stress and still coming out triumphant is one of the great learning of the programme.

Q. Who is the best faculty at your B-school?
A. There are many teachers at IIM-L whom I admire a lot, and it would be unfair to choose one amongst many.

Q. What's the best and most admirable feature of your institute?
A. Focus and attention to individual aspirations and needs is for me amongst the most admirable features of IIM-L.

Q. Scope of development in your existing curriculum.
A. I do not feel that there is any need for changes in the existing curriculum of IPMX. However, the faculty and IPMX Committee at IIM-L is very open to the suggestions of students regarding the curriculum. Infact, at the end of every term, there is a formal feedback session with the class besides individual feedback for each course.

Q. Getting into and sailing through a B-school is easier for a Science graduate than for someone from Humanities background. Your comments, please.
A. In IPMX, we have graduates from Humanities background. However, I do feel that Science graduates are at a slight advantage when it comes to getting into a B-school.

Q. Tips for those who wish to do MBA from your school.
A. For those who wish to be in leadership roles, managing companies that are engaged in businesses across the globe, IPMX programme from IIM-L is the place to be at!
