Q. How did you prepare for the Interview?
A. I read a lot of online material like Economist, Swaminomics.org, and also from various online forums. I prepared articles pertaining to general issues beforehand, so didn't feel stressed.

Q. . How many interview calls did you get and from which institutes? How many and which ones of these could you actually convert to a Final Call?
A. I got calls from IIM Shillong, IMT-Ghaziabad, IMI-Delhi, IIT-Kharagpur, IRMA-Anand, SPJIMR-Mumbai.

Q. Date and location of Interview? Were you given the option to choose? Was the interview date fixed or re-scheduled couple of times? Was the interview venue changed or scheduled as per your convenience?
A. Date: 17th April 2008. Location: IIFT Delhi. Yes, I was given the option to choose, and then date was fixed.

Q. Can you tell us about the panel that interviewed you?
A. I know about two professors and they were both from IIM-A.

Q. How long was your interview?
A. 45 minutes.

Q. What kind of questions were you asked? Were they specific to any particular area?
A. The interview covered almost all topics. There were questions from my academics background and work experience, then about current affairs, general issues, and then also about my hobbies.

Q. What was the first question? The most interesting question? The most difficult question?
A. It was related to my work experience. As I have experience in linux embedded system, they asked me to tell logically how to implement that in Windows. Interesting one was about Ethics, and we had a long discussion on that. Didn't find anything difficult.

Q. While facing the panel, were you confident, did you feel prepared?
A. Yes, I did feel confident and prepared, though I was not able to answer few questions, but I knew this was all part of the game.

Q. Write a brief about your Interview experience.
A. Initially, it started off with work experience which I was able to handle rather well, then it moved on to general stuff like Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and then moved current affairs in which I faltered in 1-2 questions, and then it moved to my hobbies.

Q. Was any feedback given to you? What feedback did you receive from the panel at the end of session?
A. In the end, they asked me to recite my poem (urdu), and they all were over-joyed and started clapping.

Q. How would you rate your performance in the Interview?
A. 7/10.

Q. Areas where you could have performed better in your interview?
A. Current Affairs.

Q. Give some handy tips regarding interview that would be of great help to MBA aspirants.
A. Just read, read, and read, after your written results. Newspapers are a must and also basics of acadamics. If you have work experience, try to introspect and relate your work with management also. Prepare well answers to questions like, "Tell me about yourself," and "Why MBA are must to be perfected".
