What is CoolAssociate?
A program for MBA community. Voluntary participation from visitors of the site is invited; members are required to participate by way of contribution to the knowledge base of CoolAvenues by choosing any of the options available.

Who can be a CoolAssociate?
Any visitor to the website who belongs to the MBA community, is a student or a professional or an academician, can fill up the registration form and submit his/her latest brief profile.

Can everyone be a CoolAssociate?
No. Once you submit your brief profile at the time of registration, CoolAvenues team will review it and only if you meet the basic criteria and get selected, you will receive an invitation and welcome mail from CoolAvenues within a fortnight of your application.

Are there various types of CoolAssociate?
Yes, you can be a
(I) CoolAssociate Writer / Editor - Contribute your articles, papers, diary-entries related to Management / Humour / Social Issues / Book Reviews or your personal B-school Experiences;
(II) Campus-Associate - If you wish to represent your respective Institutes on this common platform; and
(III) Forum Editor / Mentor / Moderator - To be a Mentor to MBA aspirants, or a Forum Editor for variety of topics like management issues, business quizzes, gadgets, etc., at CoolAvenues' Forums.

Can I choose to be more than one type of CoolAssociate?
Yes, you can choose either one, or more or all the options. If you are a MBA student and wish to be CampusAssociate, click here, and to participate as Forum Editor/ Mentor, click here.

Where will my articles be published?
Depending upon the nature of the article, it will be published in suitable section of the website, i.e., in Knowledge Zone, B-school Zone, Career Resources Zone, MBA Aspirants Zone, or Café, etc.

Once a CoolAssociate, will all my contributions be published?
No, once you have been selected as CoolAssociate, you can start sending contributions, but your article can either be published or unpublished, and the final decision to do so would lie solely with CoolAvenues' Editorial Team.

How will I know that my contribution has been accepted and published?
You will receive a notification along with the URL at which your contribution has been featured from the CoolAvenues' Editorial Team.

Can I make any changes or edit my contribution after it gets published?
Yes, you can use your mail-id and put up your request to the CoolAvenues' Editorial Team. But we would prefer it if you send us the final draft of your penmanship only after careful re-checking of your write-up.

Do I have to send only management-related contributions?
No, the articles can be management or non-management, related to either pure academic or on the lighter side of management, i.e., B-school life / professional life, etc. With the exception of the last three areas mentioned below, the rest should be your original literary work. Joke contributions can be borrowed. Poems and Quotes can also be borrowed, but submitted in accompaniment of the actual author's details.

Will I get due credits for my articles/write-ups, etc.?
Yes, to facilitate credits to the author, writer or editor of any contributions, we ask for your brief profile during the time of registration. However, during the time of contribution, you have to use the same mail-id, and again have to mention to whom the credit has to be given. Please read CoolAvenues' Copyright Policy before submitting your article.

Does CoolAvenues check the originality and authenticity of articles / write-ups?
No, during the time of registration, we take a bond that the contributions are original, and if adapted, then the source would be mentioned by the contributor. So all responsibility of copying and adaptation lies with the contributor.

Are there Rewards for Authors who contribute at CoolAvenues?
CoolAvenues.com, being of the largest MBA Community portal, brings significant visibility to its authors / contributors, and builds a name among the community which otherwise is not possible for an independant publisher. Further, present contributors to the site are Senior Management professionals from all walks of management. Moreover, apart from social recognistion and creative happiness, CoolAvenues rewards its Associates in following manner: -
a) Showcasing its authors by putting photoprofile
b) CoolAvenues T-shirts (for writers whose 3 or more articles get published.)
At present, CoolAvenues.com does not pay any cash reward for articles published at its site.
