Tracking Organizational Performance (New)

Objectives: The management of a firm needs to track organizational performance on a continuous basis from a variety of perspectives in order to increase the probability that the firm is moving in the intended direction within the different relevant parameters.

For: This program is meant for top and senior managers from both the private and public sector who are either in general management roles or are heading functional roles in their organizations and would be moving into general management roles shortly. Participants may be from any industry.

Contents: The program will attempt to answer the following questions. Is the structure of the organization optimal for the markets that the firm serves and how do I evaluate this? Are my marketing metrics providing me proper inputs for managerial decisions on an ongoing basis to attain marketing goals in alignment with organizational goals? Is the management control system delivering relevant knowledge on the basis of which one obtains a clear view of where the organization is with respect to its financial goals? How are the internal operations of the firm tracked and evaluated and how does this process dovetail with marketing and finance to enable me to take a holistic view of the firms position internally and externally so that appropriate decisions and actions can be taken?

This program provides the foundations, frameworks and tools to monitor organizational performance with a holistic perspective. The approach is to evaluate how the different parts of the organization are contributing to performance not just on a lagged basis but also on a leading basis so that the organization can be better matched to the markets that it serves.
