Objectives: Intellectual property forms the back bone for many companies. From the point of creation of intellectual property to that of its protection, marketing and licensing there are major policy decisions to be made by the company as there is substantial investment on the same. Though intangible in nature, intellectual property has become the driving force of many companies today.
IBM and Microsoft undoubtedly are the best examples of what a company can achieve through the understanding and management of IPR. The proper study of intellectual property rights is becoming more and more inevitable considering the fact that India is fast emerging as an economy with considerable investment in cutting-edge research and development. The programme is designed to familiarise the personnel's in the R&D department, those in charge of licensing and other relevant departments the importance of the IPR generated by their company and the ways and means of using and protecting.

For: This programme has been designed to cater to the needs of those personnels who are closely associated with the R&D team and who work at different stages of the creation, registration, licensing and marketing of IPR.
