2. Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
The Institute has three terms in each year. The course work will get completed after the end of the third term in the second year. The course package are classified under the following four categories : Foundation Courses consist of the basic courses in various functional areas of management and integrative courses. Exemption from foundation courses can be given to a student who has completed `Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programme' from any of the IIMs.
In those courses in which the contents of the PGP and the Doctoral courses are the same, they will run concurrently for PGP and FPM students.
Independent Study Courses of at least two credits may be taken by the students spread over the first two terms of the second year. This is to provide a student a formal opportunity to pursue his/her special interests in the programme.
Research Methodology Courses have been conceived as major inputs to the Doctoral students. There are four(4) courses in this module which are compulsory for all students in the programme. If in a particular area of specialisation, the concerned faculty members feel that they need to supplement the research methodology courses, such courses would form part of the area specialisation course package (Minor or Area Specialised Courses).
Advanced Courses (Major & Minor Courses) are to be taken by the students in their areas of interest. Each student will declare his/her major and minor area of specialisation at the time of registration to the programme.
