1. Post Graduation Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM)

The Industrial Management course is designed to address the various strategic and operational issues involved in the entire value chain of an organization. The course envisages a conscious effort to find indigenous ways to gear excellence in achieving the economic goals of development. The thrust areas of the course are Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Systems Management, Project Management and ERP with interfaces to Marketing, Finance and Human Resources. The knowledge and competence of tomorrow's business leaders need systematic foundation and preparation for meet everyday challenges.

The PGDIM course combines the science- management of information systems, finance, operations, marketing with the art- creative problem solving, presentation and team building skills of business management and create a general managers who are visionary and can build a holistic picture along the length of value chain. The goal is to give a sound grounding in fundamentals of business and to endow the students with general management competence.

Eligibility

  • Admissions to Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management are open to all branches of Engineering/Technology or equivalent. The candidates must have a first class degree (55% in case of SC/ST candidates).

  • Work experience is given suitable weightage.

Fees and Expenses
Fees for the entire course : Approx. Rs. 1,15,000/- pa.

Admission Process
The entrance to this programme is through CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted jointly by IIMs, followed by a group discussion and interview of short listed candidates by the institute.
