2. Post graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE)

Eligibility
Engineering/Technology graduates in any branch with minimum of 85 percentile in GATE. Admission is based on Group Discussion and Interview with appropriate weightage to GATE Score. Selection for Industry-sponsored candidates with First Class degree (55% for SC/ST candidates) in Engineering/Technology (with 2 years industry experience) is through Interview.

Fees and Expenses
Fees for the entire course : Approx. Rs. 90,000/- pa.

Admission Process
The selection criteria is based on the combination of the GATE percentile score, Group Discussion, and Interview scores with appropriate weight given for each.

Reservation of seats for PGDIM and PGDIE
Total of 90 seats for each of the programmes.15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe candidates and 3% for Handicapped/Disabled candidates. If suitable candidates are not available, these seats will be filled up by General Category candidates.

3. Post Graduate Programme in Induatrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM)

Eligibility
Admission to this program is restricted to candidates with a recognized degree in Engineering and/or Technology with minimum first class marks (55% in case of SC/ST candidates). Preference will be given to Sponsored candidates.

All candidates will have to qualify through an Entrance Examination designed and administered by NITIE, followed by Group Discussion and Interview conducted by NITIE of the short listed candidates.

Seats
There are total of 30 seats,15 for general candidates and 15 for the sponsored candidates.

Fees for the entire course : Approx.Rs. 1,15,000/- pa.
