Support Facilities
Classrooms & Other Facilities
The Institute has 12 state of the art, air conditioned classrooms of different seating capacities with large writing boards, LCD, Computers, over-head projectors. In addition there are a few other classrooms as well. Besides, there is separate computer classroom and systems room with adequate number of computers available.
Library
Sir Jehangir Ghandy Library of XLRI is a unique resource for management studies and research. This library building has comfortable air conditioning, a collection of 48,700 books, 18,500 bound volumes, 323 national and international periodicals, ProQuest database covering 1850 electronic journals, 450 CD-ROM with a network station, 1250 video cassettes, annual reports and project/dissertation reports.
Computers
The computing resources at XLRI include latest servers and workstations, a state-of-the-art campus network and 512 KBPS leased line Internet connection. There are high end Servers to host XLRI Web Page, Mail Server, Oracle and other software and database (PROWESS OF CMIE, VANS etc.). About 170 units of Pentium workstations as Window NT/Window 95/98.
Other Facilities
Facilities for indoor and outdoor games for recreation and relaxation are available. Medical facilities are available on the campus to treat common illnesses.
