3. Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

For FPM the thesis topics can be selected among areas like Economics, Finance, Information systems, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and Strategic Management.

Eligibility

  • Master's degree or its equivalent with 55% aggregate marks, (45% for SC/ST candidates) OR BE/B.Tech with 60% aggregate marks (50% marks for the SC/ST candidates) and 3 years of relevant work experience.

  • These students will be awarded a stipend of Rs. 3000/- during the first year and Rs. 5000/- from second year onwards. The students are also entitled for a contingency grant of Rs. 5000/- year on reimbursement basis. The stipend is given for a maximum of four years only to the full-time residential candidates.

4. Three-Year Executive Post Graduate Programme (EXEC-PGP)

The Institute has offered this programme for the first time from the Academic Year 2000 for working and experienced executives in India and abroad with potential to reach senior management positions.

This programme is national as well as international in scope. The participants spend 18-20 days on the Campus thrice a year to complete the course requirements with additional work as carry-home projects and assignments. The mix of participants, which may include entrepreneurs, executives from various functional areas, provides enabling environment for learning. The Institute awards the Postgraduate Diploma in Management to participants who successfully complete all the requirements of the programme.

Eligibility
A minimum of 3-years Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) and 5 years of relevant managerial experience after graduation working in India/abroad.

Academic Evaluation System
The Institute's evaluation system is designed to continually assess the students' performance in relation to the required standards of academic achievement. Apart from examinations, a student's performance is assessed on the basis of class participation, preparation of periodic assignments, mid-term tests and surprise quizzes. As specified in the Manual of Policies, the Institute expects a minimum standard, as specified for promotion, and for the award of the Diploma. Failure to meet the minimum standards of performance at any time would require a student to discontinue from the programme.
