NITIE, Mumbai Organizes 'B-Cube', an Exclusive Event for MBA Aspirants

B-Cube is a unique event in terms of concepts, execution and target market. It is conducted by team IMPACT (a student-driven committee) at NITIE. It revolves around the MBA Aspirants, and tries to answer their numerous queries regarding: -

  • What an MBA is all about?
  • Why does one need to do an MBA?
  • What are the different verticals of an MBA?
  • How do freshers and laterals differ?
  • What are Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Systems Management, Human Resource Management and Environmental Management, as MBA specialisation?
  • Further, it gives a platform to various candidates for interacting with the seniors and understanding their perspective. IMPACT also arranges for lectures by the distinguished faculty and alums of NITIE on various verticals of MBA. All in all, it's a complete package for an MBA aspirant to get a fair idea as to what he or she should do once he/she has decides to go for it.

This year the 3rd edition of B-Cube or Best Business Brains was organized in NITIE Auditorium on Sunday, February 8th, 2009, in association with IMS Powai and Bhagirath Printers & Stationers. B-Cube '09 was a major success with participants across India. This year, Best Business Brains '09 expanded its horizon by facilitating learning across all verticals of MBA - Finance, Marketing and Operations, HR, IT and Environmental Management, through an array of workshops by the eminent faculty at NITIE along with the expertise of alums from NITIE. The event got an overwhelming response from the Aspirants who were delighted with the uniqueness of the event, as it offered a holistic knowledge of various profiles, requisite skill-set and scope in various functions. This equipped them to gauge their interest and preferences well in advance.

Dr. B. M. Ghodeswar, Dean Academics, NITIE and Prof. A. K. Pundir, Associate Dean Placements, NITIE, graced the inauguration ceremony by their eminent presence and words of encouragement for the students.
