Rejoicing after their double victory, the International Champions, Mr. Shobhit Bhatnagar and Mr. C. Ram Shankar of IIM Calcutta said, "We will remember this win for a lifetime. We hope the quiz continues to be there for many more years. Kudos to Mr. Giri Balasubramanium for being such an entertaining quiz-master. We would like to thank the Tata Group for giving us an opportunity to represent our talent internationally."

The theme for both the National and International Final was "Global". The rounds were designed to create a level-playing field for all the teams. The questions required the teams to use their reasoning skills as well as to think on their feet. Rounds that involved deciphering a formula to arrive at the name of a brand / person tested the team's ability to think out of the box but at lightning speed.
