Strategic level - trust placed is of strategic importance to client
Macro level - trust placed by society
Personal level - trust placed by an individual customer
Trust leads to increasing the number of satisfying transactions with the external publics, leading to increased profitability and asset creation in intangibles.
Building Trust
Trust building efforts have to be initiated within the company and extended to the external dimensions of the company.

Imbibe a sense of equality and consistency in HR policies
Establish standards for job performance and promotions and incentives
Pledge and demonstrate top management commitment to employee welfare and well being
Establish comprehensive communication channels and technologies to eliminate gaps
Build a sense of pride within the organization; promote a consistent organizational culture

Publicize standards followed by organization's processes - create benchmarks
Publicize discretionary societal expenses incurred
Exercise established policies and consistent standards during all transactions
