Placement Highlights from Other Top B-schools

TISS, Mumbai

  • Global companies like Lehmann Brothers, Colgate-Palmolive, etc., visited campus as first-time recruiters, while Asian Paints, Marico, Wipro, Tata Motors, etc., maintained their enduring relationship with TISS.

  • The mean salary was INR 6.98 Lakhs p.a., with the median salary being INR 6.75 Lakhs p.a. this year.

    NITIE, Mumbai

  • New companies, such as Olam International, Deloitte Consulting, Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank, Computer Sciences Corporation, Cypress, SBI Caps, ICICI Prudential, etc., came to NITIE Campus.

  • Laterals were conducted for the first time in NITIE, and were a huge success with 24 people accepting offers.

  • Consulting and Financial Sectors emerge as the preferred choice among students with almost 50% of the students accepting job offers across various functional areas in these domains.

    IMT, Ghaziabad

  • IMT Ghaziabad changes policy of 'one student-one offer' and allows multiple offers to meet corporate demand, as for the first time this year, multiple offers were allowed for the lateral candidates. 15 offers were made to 6 lateral candidates, making it to 2.5 offers per candidate.

  • First batch of International Business students passed out successfully with average compensation package at INR 5.03 Lakhs p.a.

    SPJIMR, Mumbai

  • Rewriting history, a stunning 35 companies were first time recruiters on campus.

  • The highest offers came from CTS (16), HCL (14), Genpact (12), Infosys (9) and Wipro (9).

  • Foreign offers were received from Australia, Singapore and Dubai from Macquarie Bank, P&G and Schlumberger.

  • Candidates also had the icing of multiple offers going upto maximum of 6, giving them the luxury of choice.
