Program Overview: Indian industry is now driven by a rapidly changing business landscape that, in turn, is being shaped by discontinued technological developments, information revolution and fast collapsing boundaries of markets, societal moves and political frameworks, This has transformed the requirements of role efficacy at the top levels. The need is for leaders who are comfortable and competent to be global citizens, global leaders, and global change-masters.

The two-week workshop has been designed by MDI specially to prepare those who are in line for Board-level positions to understand the emerging challenges and develop competencies to meet them in an effective manner. Since a global mindset and global leadership is an integral part of the Board-level competencies, a one-week meticulously worked out international module has also been built into the Workshop. The participants would spend one week on the campus of MDI, and one week at the Robert S. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, USA.
