About the Programme: Good Corporate Governance is now widely recognized as an influential contributory to enhanced Corporate Reputation and Competitiveness. In the scheme of good governance frameworks, Audit Committees are seen as an important instrument of assurance and surveillance that are so essential to the investors' confidence and protection.

Audit Committees are not only for accounts, audits and related issues (important though they are) but are seen as guardian of created shareholder wealth and such wealth=creating assets of corporations. It calls for a business and ethical orientation based on specialized skills not only of financial matters but also on probing inquiry, constructive skepticism, and a nose for getting to the root of any potential problem.

This programme is designed to offer a first course to current and future members of Audit Committees in their journey towards excellence in this field.

For: Chairmen, MDs & CEOs, Whole time Directors, Independent Directors, and Non Executive Directors. Those at the level of just below the Board and are knocking at the doors of the Board positions or are being groomed to become Directors within a year or so, will also find the Programme extremely enriching.

Participation in this program is restricted to the levels indicated since we believe participants can learn as much from each other as they would from the facilitating faculty.
