Theme: Learning, Teaching and Research in a Borderless World

About the Conference

This conference, sponsored by European Union, is the third one in the series, the earlier ones having taken place at Singapore and Graz, Austria. The objective of this conference at IIM Ahmedabad is to disseminate the perspectives, conceptual frameworks and findings from different scholars, teachers, trainers and practitioners in the field of education about cross-cultural learning and learning styles, teaching and teaching styles, and implications of these for learners, teachers and researchers.
Other cross-cultural issues will also be covered. The conference will provide a platform to share the perspectives and research in these fields as well as to give specific and practical output of the studies on cross-cultural differences to the participants and other potential beneficiaries. A number of excellent papers prepared by Indian as well as scholars form many countries have been scheduled for the conference.

Participants

Educationists, teachers, trainers engaged in teaching in different cultures and in classes with multi-cultural student composition; and students interested in learning in a different culture, perhaps as a part of further studies.
