Objectives: The purpose of the programme is to provide a comprehensive examination of the exploitation of content, both Theatrical Cinema and Television programming, across many entertainment and media platforms. This
will include the growing development of revenue streams across venues including theatrical box office, home video, broadcast television, and cable (terrestrial and satellite). There will be a discussion of branding content and repurposing the brands across media platforms, while also analysing the development of supplementary revenue streams.

This will also include the study and understanding of convergence through the impact of technology that has placed the consumer in charge of consumption and enables the viewer and listener to select the time, place and device to enjoy their entertainment. We will also review and discuss new platforms including Google, MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and other new enterprises.
