Summer Placement Process at SJMSOM, IIT, Bombay Witnesses Internship Offers Across Various Management Domains

Consulting

Consulting giants like Deloitte and Capgemini Business Consulting offered challenging profiles in domains like IT, Business Strategy, etc. Other consulting majors like Frost and Sullivan, Synovate Business Consulting, i2 Technologies and Aqua MCG also participated in the summer placement process, offering profiles in Business advisory, Strategy, Market research and Technology consulting.

Global eProcure made its presence felt in the campus by offering its niche Supply Chain and Sourcing consulting profiles. IIEC, a prominent energy efficiency provider and Dun & Bradstreet, a leading business information provider were among the other companies which offered challenging consulting profiles.

Finance

Tough times notwithstanding, this year saw enthusiastic participation from major players of financial services industry. Nearly 23% of the batch opted for internship in the financial domain across an entire gamut of profiles like Investment Banking, Private Equity, Project Finance, Treasury and Corporate finance. Global banking titans like HSBC, JP Morgan Chase, and ICICI Bank participated in the process. A leading private equity firm, Future Capital Holdings, established a strong relationship with the SJMSOM campus by offering their highly coveted Private Equity profile. SBI Capital, Investment Banking and Project advisory major and Future Generali Insurance also offered exciting profiles. Apart from afore mentioned profiles, traditional corporate finance profiles were offered by Tata Motors and GE (FMP). Tata Capital, a major NBFC player also made its presence felt in the summer placement process.

Manufacturing

Major automotive and manufacturing companies reiterated their confidence in SJMSOM by participating in the summer placement process. Recruiters like BPCL, Croda Chemicals and Cummins offered Marketing profiles. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and GE – Oil & Gas offered exciting roles in the Operations domain. Tata Motors offered its most sought after marketing profile along with operations and corporate finance.
