Foreign Students
A non-resident Indian or a foreign candidate is eligible to apply to 2-yr residential program PGP. The eligibility requirements are:

  • A Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 system) recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE as eligible for Postgraduate studies.

  • Candidates appearing at the final bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent degree examinations are also eligible to apply provided they complete all their graduating requirements including practical examinations/assignments before 30th June 2004. Their admission will, however, be considered provisional until they produce their marksheet satisfying the eligibility criterion. The time limit for submitting the graduating marksheet is 31st December 2004.

  • TOEFL scores will also be required from non-English speaking countries.

  • If the candidate is present in India then he is required to take CAT.If not then he has to provide GMAT score of not more than one year vintage. GMAT has to be taken outside India and should be in top 15 percentile limit.

  • Candidate has to submit a certificate from the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, that the candidate has been a resident in that country for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December 2003.

  • 3 letters of recommendation.

  • Children of NRI's are eligible if the parent is resident abroad for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December 2003.

Admission Process
Admissions to PGP is open for Graduates from all disciplines through nationally administered Common Admission Test (CAT), jointly organized by all the six IIMs in India every year.

Fees and Expenses
Yearly expenses on tuition, library, computer, teaching material and hostel accommodation presently total up to Rs.100,000 for the first year and Rs.1,10,000 for the second year. Other expenses including boarding will be extra. For foreign candidates the fees will be US$ 8000 per year.

2. eMEP: Post Graduate Certificate Program in Management

This is a 1-year intensive program in General Management, designed specifically for working professionals/executives. The certificate will be awarded directly by Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. The final examination and evaluation required for certification shall be carried out at the IIMK campus in Kozhikode, Kerala. The student will need to travel to Calicut at their own cost for the same.

Eligibility
A graduate (Bachelor's) in any discipline with minimum 50% marks and 1 year of work experience (as on June, 2004). The eMAT examination is held in the month of April.
