The first day witnessed the presentations in General and HR Management module, in which Wipro Technologies Ltd. emerged as the winner of coveted 'Lakshya Best Project Award', with M&M FES being the 1st runners-up in the same.

After touching the pinnacle of success on the first day, Lakshya took its glory to the fore on the second day as well. The second day started with the presentations in Financial Management module, in which the team from GE Money Services bagged the first prize, while the team from Dr. Reddy's Labs had to stay content with the runners-up trophy.

The next module, which was the Operations Management module, saw Maruti Udyog Ltd. as the winner of 'Lakshya Best Project Award', with the runners up title going to Marico Ltd.

The last module for the day was Systems & IT Management module, where Reliance Industries Ltd. clinched the first position and Asian Paints, which wasn't too far behind, stood as the runners-up.

The third day commenced with the presentations in the Supply Chain Mangement module, in which the first position was bagged by GSK Consumer Ltd., followed by J&J Medical Ltd. at the first runner-up position.

The jury panels, which consisted of VPs and CEOs from illustrious organizations, were all in praise for the projects across various modules. They also complimented the students of PGDIE for holding such a confluence of industry giants and young brains, which serves as a wonderful learning exercise for both of them through the III concept of Lakshya, i.e., Industry Institute Interaction. The 'Overall Best Project Award' was given to GE Money Services, which was the winner in Financial Management module.

The three day confluence also consisted of "Empresario" - an event that celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship. As one of its endeavors, there was a "D'Apprendre - My Story" Session on the first day of Lakshya, where Mr. Girish Khemkar, founder of 17 different companies and also an alumnus of NITIE, and Ms. Bhairavi Jani, Group Director, SCA Group, shared their success stories with the students. Their amulet was that for success, a combination of vision and venture is required. These entrepreneurial lectures, moderated by Mr. Manak Singh, Director TiE Mumbai, gave some really useful inputs to those who aspire to pave a unique way for themselves and egress as successful entrepreneurs in future.
