XLRI, Jamshedpur Celebrates it's Diamond Jubilee year with Ensemble '09

Avant Garde

Avant Garde is a case study competition organised by Sapphire in association with HUL which moves beyond convention to incorporate various live twists and turns as one could generally expect in the dynamic field of HR. The event was sponsored by dove hair care and the final case analysis will be judged by Mr. Sameer Nagrajan , general manager employee relations and Mr. Surakhsit Khullar from HUL.

In the first round of the event the teams were asked to send a two page summary of their solutions to the two challenges mentioned in the case. On the basis of these the HUL panel shortlisted the five final teams which comprise of two teams from TISS, a team from MDI and two teams from XLRI. The second round involved the final presentation of the case analysis to be made by the finalists to the two judges from HUL and will also comprise of a five minute Q&A session for each team. XLRI' s team CARPE DIEM bagged first place followed by emas from MDI and TISS respectively. The prizes for the event are being sponsored by dove hair care.

Human Resources in 2015

These are two of the biggest names in HR Fraternity and its our privilege to have Leena Nair and Sameer Nagarajan from HUL to share their thoughts with us. As part of Ensemble Idea Summit, they addressed us on "HR in 2015".

Day 3

The final day of Ensemble witnessed many series of events. The following events were held as part of Day 3 of Ensemble:

Judging Parameters

Articulation, Own research on external sources, Handling Questions from Judges and Audience, Coverage of different aspects ( Synergy, Financials, Market scenario, Industry scenario).
