In an opinion poll Conducted by NASSCOM and the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) in 2004, greater than 75 percent of respondents agreed that offering sophisticated information security provisions and practices provide a competitive advantage because security has become a critical selling point.
According to Ernst & Young's 2004 Global Information Security Survey, companies have identified major viruses, spam and employee misconduct as the key concerns in India. Adequate steps in this process are to be taken so as to instill faith in off shoring agencies.

Change Agent

With the maturing of off shoring and increasing acceptance of India as a destination, a range of non-customer relationship management and non-transaction related services requiring not just "skill" but "knowledge" are being increasingly off shored with legal services emerging as one area that has generated significant interest. The speed of response, open and honest communication and a positive determined attitude are evident all over the industry. The universal values inspire a humane vibrant work environment where all strive constantly to improve the level of customer care.

Opportunities

Industry Trends: Now days various joint ventures between U.S. based law firm and Indian firm come into existence and today's world is more turbulent of legal disputes, means more work/project. It seems that this industry has a bright future which can help Indians to become economically healthy. Industry watchers claim the revenue generated by this industry in India will jump to $300m by '10 and further to $970m by '15. It closed the year '05 with a figure of $52m (as shown in Figure 1).
