VSNL is listed across all the major stock exchanges in India and also has its ADRs listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Areas of Business

As India's gateway to the world, VSNL is the nodal agency for international communications from the country. It provides flexible and global connectivity through satellite and submarine cable links. It is also in the process of expanding its fibre optic network in India for its National Long Distance Services.

Its package of services include:

  • International Long Distance

  • National Long Distance

  • Data Communication

  • Internet

  • Managed Data Network Services

  • Data Centre Services

  • TV Up Linking

  • INMARSAT Services

  • Video Conferencing

  • Business Excellence

VSNL has been in the process of revisiting its vision, mission and values to face the post privatization and liberalization competition. It has completed this process by integrating the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) .

The TBEM provides a holistic framework for driving excellence. By integrating this process VSNL can improve its performance by benchmarking itself against the industry Standards. In this regard, an apex quality council and corporate quality councils have been formed to oversee the Operations and Services segments of the Quality movement.
