Why PPP Model can Sustain Itself

The salient features of the above model are illustrated below: -

a) Injecting public-private partnership leads to a win-win situation for all the parties involved. Whereas the public sector is benefited by reduced capital expenditure, the private players get benefited by higher return on investment. This is achieved in two ways, namely, achieving breakeven at a faster rate by speedy completion of the projects, and at the same time, getting some pre-determined incentives from the government or the regulatory body as the case may be for completing the projects ahead of time.
