The study was carried primarily on the secondary data along with the inputs from the domain experience. The study was carried out from the perspective of Bangalore Municipal Corporation, and the objective of the study was to increase the quality of urban life, keeping in mind - the goal is to generate revenues and minimize cost.

First stage involved the identification of the current issues concerned to the road transport of Bangalore. This was followed by understanding and analyzing the pain areas, which has the cause and effect relationship. Further drill down on the causes leads down to the root problem. The methodology followed was to stick to the decision-making tools of Theory of Constraints.

Further diving into the issues separately unfolded the plethora of conflicts, which were analyzed and the injections were proposed to resolve the issues and attain the objective. The major finding that emerged from the study was the transition of the current system by injecting very effective injections. The solution has been provided keeping in mind the short-term perspective and long-term perspective.
