Q. Was Group Discussion or Group Exercise part of selection process?
A. Group Discussion.

Q. What was your GD topic?
A. Social networking - Good or Bad?

Q. The duration of Group Discussion, size of the group, number of panelists, etc.
A. 15 mins, 10 people in the group and 5 panelists.

Q. Were there any set norms of Group Discussion?
A. Discussion may be terminated in case of fish market.

Q. Do write a brief about your Group Discussion experience.
A. More or less peaceful GD, lots of examples in support of networking, couple of examples against it. Couple of guys tried to demonstrate pseudo leadership skills and actually failed miserably. My GD was decent, made 3 entries with one good example.

Q. How was the environment during discussion?
A. More or less peaceful.

Q. Describe your impression of your team members and overall GD process?
A. Overall group was friendly, barring couple of idiots, 1 of whom actually intruded my personal space to prevent me from speaking, so as to allow a guy to speak, who hadn't spoken till then.

Q. How would you rate your performance in Group Discussion?
A. 5.

Q. Areas where you could have performed better in your Group Discussion?
A. Voice modulation to capture attention of the group better, more entries, and early entry.

Q. Give some handy tips regarding Group Discussion or Group Exercise that would be of great help to MBA aspirants.
A. Address entire group, be confident, be succinct, and get crux of your point out initially and then elaborate.
