Relationship between the RDs before and after Disaster

An important thing which should be incorporated at the RD at the disaster site is the usefulness of cross docking. The supplies to this RD would be coming at quick intervals and in varied lot sizes. Moreover the supplies would be of different SKUs like different types of food, medicines, clothes etcetera whose handling could be difficult if the concept of cross-docking is not used. Also, if such a process is used, it would lead to efficient delivery of material.
