XIM creates history, wraps up on Day 2

Ebullience and euphoria were the only ones giving company to the students of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, as the batch of 2001 with a strength of 121 achieved 100% placements before Day 2 got over.

The race to the corporate dome started on the 8th of January when companies, like Mckinsey Knowledge Center, Infosys, Satyam, GE, Britannia, Wipro, Crisil, Marico, ICICI, Godrej Soaps, Cambridge Technology Partners, ICI, Polaris, UDV, Birla Management Corporation and Business Consulting Groups vied for the best of the managing talents in the country. 70% of the batch was placed on Day 1 itself amongst a flurry of GD's, tests and Interviews. The campus was bustling with offers aplenty and Day 2 was no exception. Cavin Kare, TVS-SUZUKI, GTB, IRIS, LTITL, Henkel-spic, TCS, Godrej-Boyce TIS, Patni Computer Services & many more had their share. Overall 60 companies participated this year & the batch was placed within the first 34 companies itself.

According to the Institute's administration, this has by far been the best year for XIM, Bhubaneswar, which in a short span of 13 years, has come to be rated among the Elite Top-10 B-schools in the country. Pre-Placement Offers came from Wipro, Compaq, IRIS, and Mafoi Consultants.
