Q. Was Group Discussion Or Group Exercise part of selection process?
Ans. Yes , Group Discussion.

Q. What was the topic of your Group Discussion?
Ans. A General Topic - regarding prioritizing factors essential for Indian development from among the list of factors provided.

Q. The duration of Group Discussion, Size of the Group, Number of Panelists, etc.
Ans. Duration- 15 mins., 12-13 members, 2 Panelists.

Q. Were there any set norms for Group Discussion?
Ans. 2 mins before start of GD, 12 mins for discussion, 1 min. for summary.

Q. Do write a brief about your Group Discussion experience.
Ans. Were made to sit in oval shape. The topic was general so was difficult to enter into the GD as everyone had some ideas to speak. Entered the GD around 2-3 mins later with a forceful entry with a high pitch initially but later brought to normal level once everyone was quite. Spoke for 1 min or so 3-4 times. Overall felt like contributing positively to the GD. (About 100 words)

Q. How was the environment during Group Discussion?
Ans. Not easy to enter. Many people speaking at the same time. People with high pitch and forceful entry could do so. Others got less chance to speak.

Q. Describe your impression of your team members and overall Group Discussion Process?
Ans. Team members were good, everyone except 2 members were contributing . Overall GD was good.

Q. How would you rate your performance in Group Discussion?
Ans. 7/10 (On a scale of 10)

Q. Areas where you could have performed better in your Group Discussion?
Ans. A lot more tone variation could have helped in getting the attention of the group more.

Q. Give some handy tips regarding Group Discussion or Group Exercise that would be of great help to MBA aspirants.
Ans.(1) Knowledge of the topic (Reading Newspapers/Magazines )
       (2) To the point and brief while speaking (not much opportunity to speak)
       (3) Practice, practice and practice.
