  • General management and logistics problems attendant on the complex interdependent and interactive nature of project work.

  • Problems of authority, responsibility, communication and coordination arising from lack of clear definition of organization structure.

  • Conventional approaches to planning, budgeting and control out of tune with project management structure.

  • Failure to recognize the possibilities of inter-group and interpersonal conflicts that the multi-specialization, changing and complex structure of project organization.

    It is a well known fact that India is rich in its natural resources and also the manpower. Indeed, there is lot of scope for us to successfully implement the projects by identifying and effective utilization of the below mentioned Opportunities: -

  • Growing importance of Infrastructural Development in the entire country and huge investments for the same are pouring in. Urban areas: IT Infrastructure, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation etc, in Rural areas: Agricultural Infrastructure (warehousing and distribution), utilizing ICT for rural development (Refer Exhibit 5) . Growing Educational infrastructure across the nation in various forms.

  • Various initiatives have been taken for power generation, water conservation, replacement of petrochemical products with bio gas, etc.

  • Abundance of manpower, if identified, planned and resource leveling is done properly the bane of thickly populated will transform to be a boon, so that we can more effectively handle and complete multiple projects with in the stipulated time with less cost (underutilization of existing resources).

  • To technological giants with in the country for development of various technological tools and techniques (solutions) for effective controlling, evaluation and implementation of projects (Refer Exhibit 6).
